Chiropractor in Sioux Falls, SD

Kate Albers

Kate Albers is brand new to South Dakota and is excited to get her feet on the ground for her own massage therapy business. She has a passion for service and a deep desire to increase the communities’ overall holistic health one person at a time. She has obtained a Bachelor of Exercise  Science degree from Grove City College in northern Pennsylvania, and is also professionally licensed from The Lancaster School of Massage.

She is trained in multiple modalities such as Swedish massage, Deep tissue massage, Myofascial Release, Reflexology, Trigger Point Therapy, Athletic stretching/sports massage, Prenatal and Postpartum massage, Hawaiian Lomi Lomi massage and now newly trained in CORESTONES massage! (Please ask about it!)  During her 5 years of practice and experience she has worked in a variety of settings which include various gyms, spas and chiropractic offices. With her level of expertise, you can feel confident healing in Kate’s hands.

Her Massage Therapy philosophy is biblical. Her business name is Matthew 22 Massage because she believes that as Christians those are our two greatest commands; “To Love God and Love Others”. It was also a belief of her parents, who ran a successful Chiropractic office for 26 years, and who are her great inspiration and reason why she continues to practice today.

Mark 16:18; “They will place their hands on the sick people, and they WILL be healed”.

Meet Ashle

Sioux Fall, SD Chiropractic Clinic

My name is Ashle and I am a licensed massage therapist. I graduated from Boulder College of Massage Therapy in 2006 and worked in the Colorado area until 2010. I moved back home to Yankton, SD in 2010 and decided to go to nursing school.

I graduated from Mount Marty with my bachelors in nursing in 2015 and have been working as a nurse since. In the last few years, I have found myself missing massage therapy. I decided to get my license and start my own practice. I am excited to meet you and help you find your body harmony. I specialize in deep tissue and trigger point therapy, I also do swedish massage.  Call, text, or e mail me to schedule your appointment today.

The treatment combines a variety of different modalities and techniques throughout the service time to affect each muscle differently. This ensures ultimate therapy and relaxation for the body.

The modalities used include, but are not limited to:

  • Swedish Massage: This is your most general style of full-body massage where the entire body is addressed with even pressure and specific attention paid to any areas of concern.

  • Deep Tissue Massage: With this technique, your therapist will use firmer pressure and longer strokes to reach deeper levels of your muscles and connecting tissue surrounding them. (Ideal for chronic pain or excessive tension.)

  • Medical Massage: This modality focuses on the outcome of the treatment to the point that the pressure, length of strokes and areas of treatment are specifically focused to accomplishing the healing of a given ailment or injury.

  • Myofascial Release: This involves the application of gentle but sustained pressure to the myofascial tissues, which surround and support muscles throughout the body. (Ideal for those suffering joint pain.)

  • Reflexology: This technique combines Swedish massage treatments with the application of pressure to specific points on the feet and hands to alleviate pain in other areas of the body.

  • Trigger Point Therapy: Similar to Reflexology, this method applies pressure to specific areas to reduce pain, however, it focuses on any area of the body that is causing discomfort.

  • Shiatsu Massage: This technique derives from traditional Chinese medicine and involves using finger point pressure to problem areas to relieve pain and tension in the muscles.

  • Sports Massage: Created for athletes of all levels, this focuses on the areas of the body that are the most over-used and prone to injury due to the repetitiveness of the movement involved in the sport.
